With the help of parents setting expectations, this time fosters independence and accountability. Students will utilize this 45-minute period to work on individual course work, while being able to engage with their peers. Relationships will grow as student learn to respect each other's workspace, support one another, and develop time management skills.

12:45 pm to 2:15 pm

Exposure to a variety of life skills benefits students' ability to problem solve, collaborate, and visualize opportunities that expand into adulthood. In bi-weekly, 90-minute sessions, our guest instructors will introduce a variety of skills across all STEAM categories. Additionally, students will gain a sense of ownership at Compass by participating in electives of their choosing and periodic student led initiatives in the weeks between instructors.

2:15 pm to 3:00 pm

This final 45-minute segment is the secret sauce to creating a strong community and building lifelong friendships! The #1 feedback students report is their desire for unstructured activities that allow for spontaneous conversation and true connection with peers. At Compass, we strive to provide an inviting, safe environment for organic relationships to develop.
