Students are not allowed to attend if they have any of the following communicable symptoms in the 24 hours before a Compass event:
-
Fever of 100.4 or greater
-
Vomiting
-
Diarrhea
-
Rash

Communicable diseases (pink eye, chicken pox, lice, etc.)

Please listen to your gut and keep your child at home if they are not well. If your child comes to Compass activities feeling unwell, they will not benefit from the day’s activities. If your child is visibly unwell, we will call you and send them home for the day.
Allergies
We are NUT FREE. Please reach out with any concerns so we can keep your child safe.
Technology
-
Students are expected to use technology (tablets, laptops) for schoolwork, during designated study time, or emergencies only.
-
During instruction time and reset, approved technology should be silenced and put away.
-
Cell phones are to remain stored, out of sight, during Compass programs. Failure to do so will result in the device being placed in our secure “parking lot” and returned at check-out.
-
We have a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate use of technology. If a director deems that a student is using technology inappropriately or viewing inappropriate content, they will no longer be allowed to bring technology of any kind.
-
Determining “inappropriate use” is up to the discretion of the director(s).
-
Compass Enrichment Annex and Faith Bible Church are not responsible for lost or broken items.
