Eligibility

Compass is a supplemental learning cooperative.  Learning and experiences through Compass should not replace a core academic curriculum.  

 

  • Students must be in 6th through 12th grade AND be at least 11 years old by September 1, 2024, but less than 19 years of age.    

  • Adhere to the Student Code of Conduct. 

  • Be able to function independently during programs/events with no more assistance than a large group chaperone.    

  • Effectively communicate respectfully with adults and peers.    

  • Do not be disruptive during programs or undermine the safety of staff, volunteers, peers, or self.   

  • Be responsible to gather and utilize necessary supplies in the intended way. 

  • Request assistance when necessary. 

 

  *** If your student has any diagnosed or undiagnosed special needs, please email info@compassea.org to set up a phone consultation prior to enrolling. This does not automatically disqualify a student. We will do our best to work with families when appropriate while keeping safety a priority.

No Show Policy

Attendees that fail to attend (3) consecutive classes, without written notification(info@compassea.org) will be withdrawn from the program. Registration fees are non-refundable if an attendee withdraws from the program.
